Alken-Maes launches new Pils

Yesterday the brewery Alken-Maes presented her newest beer, namely Maes Radler. It is a Pils with a citron flavor, as we already know from the German beer Beck's. By creating this new beer Alken-Maes wants to create a new market segment, because the sales of beer are going down. There are two reasons for this, first of all the high prices and secondly there is the smoking prohibition.By launching this new Pils, Maes-Alken wants to counter these problems.

 

The beer will be available in the supermarkets from the 1st Of March. The alcohol percentage of this beer is 2%.

Compare Budweiser in China and UK

Budweiser is a large produced by Anheuser – Bush Inbev.  It become the highest beers in US, and is available in over 80 markets worldwide.

The price different

UK:  300 * 12= £ 10= ¥ 100

China: 300 * 12 = £ 3=¥ 30

The same product in different market the price is different. The Budweiser in China is more and more cheaper than UK.

Compare with these two videos, we can see that the Budweiser's advertising in China 

is more simple and objective is very clear and easy to obtain. But the ad in UK is more

 complex, it like a short movie to tell a story. I like Budweiser's advertising in UK more 

than in China.

They have a very good looking Website, and by that I mean a nice blond girl with what; a BEARD?! The red curtains inspire some curiosity of what could be found further on.

They are well connected on social networks but the Facebook link doesn’t bring you to their Fanpage. Though, I haven’t find any official page neither of them on Facebook. There is an official Youtube Channel.

The website has some Photo Galleries of the previous years. And believe it or not there are some Bavarian Girls present. YES, even in Australia! 

The website contains also a music line up. There is also a department about foods that will be served on the event. There is a special entry for VIP’s on the website and a designated area on the location of the event.

The funny part is that they held a very good looking Instagram Picture competition. And the best part is that it is located in a PRISON!

It doesn't always has to be funny. The usage of beautiful graphics and music can do the trick as well.

This very moment it is not really warm outside... And that is why I wanted to show you the popular Maes commercial. This is a commercial of a Belgium Beer, not really popular in foreign countries but in Belgium is it pretty popular.

That is not what this is all about, I just wanted to show everyone this commercial, because I think it is funny and that makes it a nice commercial!
