Yesterday the brewery Alken-Maes presented her newest beer, namely Maes Radler. It is a Pils with a citron flavor, as we already know from the German beer Beck's. By creating this new beer Alken-Maes wants to create a new market segment, because the sales of beer are going down. There are two reasons for this, first of all the high prices and secondly there is the smoking prohibition.By launching this new Pils, Maes-Alken wants to counter these problems.
The beer will be available in the supermarkets from the 1st Of March. The alcohol percentage of this beer is 2%.
